By joining in civic responsibility, citizens guarantee and support certain constitutional values recorded in the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Those values or responsibilities include justice, liberty, equity, diversity, right, privacy, due process, property, cooperation, honesty, loyalty, human rights, rule of law, toleration, shared support, and self-respect.
