Please make up a short story about a person who is putting money aside to create an Emergency Fund. Your story should include the following things, but please use different examples from what you find here
The person's job and the amount of money she makes each month.
Example: Jane is a plumber and makes $2,500 each month.
The things the person has to spend money on each month and how much those things cost.
Example: Jane has to spend $2,000 of the money she earns each month on her rent, food, and car payments.
The amount of money the person will have left after spending the money described above.
Example: After Jane spends $2,000 on rent, food, and car payments each month, she has $500 left.
What the person could do with the leftover money to start creating an Emergency Fund.
How long it would take the person to create an Emergency Fund if she put all of the extra money into that fund and she wants to have an Emergency Fund that is equal to three months of earnings.
Example: In the example above, three months of earnings would be 2,500 + 2,500 + 2,500. (If Jane put away $500 each month, it would take her 15 months to have $7,500 in an Emergency Fund).
Finish your story by writing about an "emergency" that the character experiences. What is the emergency? How much will it cost her? Will she be able to pay for it because she has created an Emergency Fund?
Then what will she have to do to create the Emergency Fund again?
