(Note each part of the question is worth 7 points.) 1. Discuss how Presidents use their informal powers to influence domestic and foreign policy. Use at least one specific example. 2. Describe why Presidents tend to get less done as they progress through the four years of their presidential term. 3. Explain how the bureaucracy can act both enhance and limit the vision of the presidency put forth in Federalist 70. 4. Explain the distinctions in the amount of control a President has over each of the following: White House Staff, Cabinet Departments and Independent Regulatory Agencies.
