Explanation:

discrimination happens to all kinds of people, lgbqt+, different races, etc, but no matter who they are, discrimination hurts them! mentally, and physically.

impacts can include:

- a individual commiting sui_cide

-a individual doing drugs/ self harm

- a individual becoming deppressed

- a individual becoming a alchoholic/ addict to cope with the stress from discrimination

answer; i believe that they became wealthy from gold and salt in their area, and became powerful by controlling trade in west
