2020 has been a year of social justice protests , mainly around police brutality and emphasizing the idea that Black Lives Matter. For some, this position was seen as problematic along with ideas around "defund the police". Most recently, we saw what has been termed as an insurrection and domestic terrorism at the nations capitol. We saw the mob violence and brutality of the mostly white crowd. What we did not see was an aggressive stance by authorities. What is your opinion of the movement , Black Lives Matter? What are your thoughts about the position of " defund the police"? What was your impression of the recent violence at the capital.

im black and i personally think we still need the police but i also think there should be more brutal punishments everytime they kill or hurt someone(black or white) without there needing to have been any harm done
