3. Why was the pyramids built?

1.)Egyptians created nature based gods because the gods of Egypt ultimately sprang from an intensive observation of the natural environment. Horus is a sky god associated with Egyptian kingship who takes the form of a falcon. Ancient Egyptians believed in resurrection after death. An illustrative example of this renewal of life is seen in the god Osiris.

2.)The three Gods were Horus, Seth, and Osiris.

3.) For religious reasons, pyramids were built. Most of the first cultures to believe in an afterlife was the Egyptians. They claimed that any human being existed inside a second self, called the ka. At Giza, three pyramids were built, and throughout the Nile Valley, several smaller pyramids were constructed.
