North Carolina and many other states have less than adequate support for people with mental health issues. Imagine that the following theorists have been gathered together to discuss in general what they think should be done about this problem. Write a conversation that you think they might have if they were all together having a round table discussion. This is a creative effort on your part, so you need not reference anything unless you copy something directly from your book or another source. The theorists in attendance are: B. F. Skinner, Albert Bandura, Sigmund Freud, Karen Horney, Hans Selye, Carl Rogers, Albert Ellis, Jean Piaget, Eric Erikson, Alfred Adler, Lawrence Kohlberg, and Charles Darwin. (If a theorist is not in your book, or you simply wish to know more, feel free to Google them.)
These people are having a conversation. They will all want to get their point across, but may or may not have specific suggestions (just general ones). They will probably argue, and some may even be abrupt or insulting of the other points of view. Be creative. I am not looking for what they have actually said, but instead, what you think they would say. Write it like a conversation, with quotation marks, etc. For example,…Then B. F Skinner said, “No, no, no. None of you understands behavior. The truth is….and, what we should do is…”
