Al indagar en Colombia un país rico en biodiversidad, el impacto ambiental no es menor, actualmente se ve altamente afectada en el departamento de la Guajira por permitir la explotación de carbón de una de las minas a cielo abierto más grande a nivel sur América. Además el deterioro de la amazonia se ve reflejado en la tala indiscriminada de árboles, el gobierno nacional y el sector productivo del país deben unir esfuerzos para disminuir los impactos y crear planes de acción en recuperar el ecosistema deteriorado. El conocer las normas, acuerdos, tratados o convenios en el cuidado y conservación del medio ambiente, permite comprometer a países y empresas en practicar el respeto por el entorno, dando a entender su importancia para un desarrollo sostenible y sustentable, la ciudadanía debe fortalecer el papel de veedora para que se cumpla lo pactado. Las naciones y empresas deben invertir en el uso de energías renovables, hacer del cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente una prioridad, los procesos productivos o actividades económicas cada día deben ser más limpias con el entorno. Es un actuar donde todos los actores ganan, la naturaleza, las empresas y la ciudadanía. DE LA LECTURA
