Can you guys help me on this

Dear (insert random name for the soilder),
My journey through the Pacific has been very difficult. The cold has made many of my comrades sick and weak. The Auschwitz camp is full of horrors I cannot explain. The conditions are very poor. They are given little food. Awful weather adds to our list. I really hope we make it back to our camp.
