Para Aristóteles la sustancia concreta sensible es un ser individual compuesto de materia y forma. El elemento formal de tal ser, lo que hace que sea cosa concreta, es el mismo en todos los miembros de una especie. Con esto Aristóteles pretende dar respuesta al problema de la individualización en los objetos sensibles mostrando que: a.
