Why do the Powhatan want to get rid of the newcomers

The Powhatan wanted to get rid of newcomers because they were taking up land that the tribe lived on. They also used up a lot of the natural supplies that the Powhatan needed like berries, fish, (etc.) Also the newcomers actually hunted some of the Powhatan and killed a lot of members in the tribe. So this is why the Powhatan did not like the newcomers and attempted to get rid of them.
