Explain what Virginia did to ensure the purity of its caste system in 1691.

They created  "Racial Purity Laws"  in 1961

This laws were created to systematically oppressed the black citizens in Virginia. Back then, people are subjected to this oppression even if they're not fully African American (mixed race).

This laws prevented people from African American community to obtain things such as high-paying job, good quality public service,  and the right to use various forms of infrastructure in Virginia.
