The colony of Pennsylvania was established by William Penn as a 'Holy Experiment'. It was given to him by the king in 1681, in payment of a debt he had to Penn's father. Amongst the other English colonies, Penn was the first leader of his colony that established peace with the natives. Then Penn made a peace treaty with the Leni Lenape Indians and bought land from them. He hadn't needed to but did anyway, and it was this act, as well as other kind acts towards the natives that formed peace between them. This also ensured a prosperous beginning for the new settlers of Pennsylvania, as the natives helped them with their crops, learning the way of the land and many other useful things. Neither did they have wars that hurt the population. This is one of the reasons I'd want to live there, it is always good to have good relations, know what I mean? Philadelphia also means "Brotherly Love". Please word this differently, it would be very appreciated!
