Democracy allows us to correct our own mistake. as in this the main power is with the citizens so if they make a wrong choice in choosing the representative then it can be changed. they can vote others and the mistake would be corrected.

There's defintiley no guarantee that mistakes can't be made in  democracy. The advantage in a democracy is that mistakes can't be hidden for a  very long. There's a space for public discussion on these specific mistakes, as well as room for correction. Either the rulers have to change their decisions, or the rulers can be changed.
