How can the senate limit the power of the house?

The answer is:  by not approving the House's bills.

'The house' is part of executive branch of the government which headed by the president. It has the power to propose new laws that are suitable for president's programs.

The senate had the power to limit the power of the house by choosing to not approving the bills using the basis such as insufficient government budget, unsuitable trend, or some violations to the constitution.
