If someone said all Asian people look alike is that makes them racist?

I believe that it is racist...

if you said one race looks all alike, then you don’t see any of them as an individual. it can be offending to some people because they themselves wouldn’t want to be compared with many others of their race and be identified as “ the same” as their people.

another reason is because you would be implying that you think everyone in a particular race looks the exact same. this is not possible and offending to others.

asian people are divided and separated into many different ethnicities. they all have different features and cultures.

You don’t list any options but the one that frets overspending and the consequences of that.
