There are more or less 6,000 Government recognized NGOs. Over 15, 000 NGOs in Nepal  to work in different sectors. Nepal being one of the poorest countries in the world, it seems mandatory to develop NGOs that reach the grassroots level  Sources of financing include membership fees, products and services revenues, for-profit private sector companies
