Can someone help - just a quick question but i told one of my teachers that I trusted that I was sad , and he went and told safeguarding and I don’t see how that’s a safeguarding issue? Does anyone know why he would tell?

In times of sadness depending on the level of sadness and depression people do things like harm themselves it can be minor but it can also be drastic your teacher prolly observed that you were very sad so in order to keep you from harming or doing anything drastic to your self he told
