Using evidence from Philip Zimbardo’s Stanford prison experiment, describe the effect of role-playing on human behavior.

Role-playing can have a tremendous effect on human behavior. An individual who is merely acting or pretending to adopt a social role can actually internalize the role. During the Stanford prison experiment, students who were psychologically identical began to embody the roles they were assigned, either becoming prison guards or passive prisoners. For example, the guards began to act in a more brutal manner, giving the prisoners physical punishments and humiliating them. Prisoners were dressed in embarrassing uniforms, referred to by numbers instead of names, made to wear stockings on their heads, and forced to wear a chain around one ankle to remind them of their situation.

the disproportionate poverty faced by women and girls comes as a result of discrimination and exclusion within bangladeshi society, struggling to establish their rights and influence in decision-making processes. traditional practices such as dowries, child marriages and the relegation of being last to eat have created a demeaning and dangerous sociopolitical context for girls and women.     racial conflict and discrimination has existed ever since man learned to kill with rocks and bones. these conflicts arose from disputes between territory, power, wealth, religion, or simple difference. some of the most infamous racial disputes include slavery, the holocaust, and the civil rights movement.

    these listed disputes often resulted in casualties from all sides. riots, wars, imprisonment, and lynching are all commonly associated with racial conflict on severe levels.

      however, racism is an improving issue in recent decades. people are being more accepting and welcoming of diverse populations. though, the world isn't perfect and it will take much more time, if ever, until the world is rid of racism.
