¿Qué es un nucleótido?

Un nucleótido es el componente básico de los ácidos nucleicos. ARN y ADN son polímeros hechos de largas cadenas de nucleótidos. Un nucleótido consiste de una molécula de azúcar con un grupo de fosfato y una base que contiene nitrógeno.
