La orientación es importante, a nivel geográfico, ya que nos permite ubicarnos y tener un punto de referencia para realizar un desplazamiento. La orientación nos permite saber dónde estamos ubicados respecto a una referencia y mediante este conocimiento podemos aplicar un desplazamiento y movernos a otra ubicación.
