Explanation: The TAT is an acronym for the word Thematic apperception test. This tool was developed by Henry A. Murray and Christiana D. Morgan at Harvard University during the 1930s.

It is also known as the picture interpretation technique because it uses pictures in which participants are asked to use to tell a story. Participants are then scored from 1 to 5, based on intensity, frequency, duration, and importance to the plot.
