How did machiavellis ideas and actions reflect his respect for ancient rome

Machiavelli’s ideas and actions showed great respectful for Rome. He deeply respected the ones with power, the ones who knew how to control and use their power, and with The Prince, he supported his main political idea being the republican government. When he was officially in the government he formed a citizen army modeled after the ancient Roman Army. Although he was supsited, by Medici, he dedicated his main piece of work ‘The Prince’ to Medici as Medici was the ruler.

an informal structure in a bureaucracy would be something like so-called "office politics". where there's a formal structure set up for the organization, but then an informal subculture as well that has a way of organizing the bureaucracy further. this can be positive because it sets up an added degree of organization, albeit informal, within the bureaucracy.
