It was awful I mean lets put it like this. How would you feel being enslaved & taken from your country to go be sold in America or somewhere else & when your sold you could be torn away from your family & never see them again. Then on the plantation if you do something wrong you could possibly be tied to a post & beaten to the white meat. So think to yourself what are some reasons for opposing Slavery.
