1. In order to prepare them for real life. Divorce, finance managment, unemployment are aspects of grown up life. Difficult topics can be talked with maturity and objectivity, parents need to be insightful and not be overly catastrophic nor pasive about the topics in hand.

Multiple challenge, being a teenager means that you are still figuring things out, life paths, career choices, values, self-identity etc. Becoming a parent at that age can be a challenging endeavor, specially if you don't have the resources (Economically, mentally, emotionally) to do it.
