I asked her to list the reasons why she thinks she is unable to get through a job interview. She gave me three typewritten pages enumerating more fears, apprehensions, self-criticisms, and negative self-evaluations than I would have believed possible for one person to have. Her thinking about herself has really gotten off the track.
