The serial position effect is the strong term that is also used in the multi-store model of memory. The serial position effect is related to the order of number or name that the participant remembers the most time in an experiment. The participants remember the starting number of colors and the last number of colors.

But the colors number in mid they have forgotten. The serial position effect is related to the primary effect and the recency effect. In this primacy effect show, the memory of primary words and recency show the effect of last words.

Thus in a block party, Cindy meets nine of her neighbor but she remembers the name of the first three and the last two names because of primacy and recency effect in serial position effect.
