What important changes did the israelites introduced to world culture and religion?

While according to the Hebrew Bible narrative, Israelites originate from the Biblical patriarchs, in the framework of modern history and archaeology they are considered to be a grouping of Semitic-speaking tribes who existed in the Iron Age and lived predominantly on the territory of the ancient Near East.  

While monotheism was originating in several other ancient religions in the early Iron Age, in particular in Rigveda with its suggestion of the monism of the Brahman, Israelites were the first once to introduce monotheism ethical monotheism. According to it morality is sourced from god.

In addition, Ten Commandments (or Decalogue) first appear in the books of Exodus and Deuteronomy of the Hebrew Bible. Their ideas had a profound influence on Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
