According to freud where in consciousness does the psychic structure the id reside?

Sigmund Freud has been proposed the personality theory in which Id is the basic part that is made up of unconscious psychic energy. The Id works on the pleasure principle. It demands the instant gratification of urges.

It is the basic part of the personality that is present before the birth. This part of personality completely existed within the unconscious part of the brain. It is a driving force that acts during impulse. This personality part is mostly seen in children. It ruled the children according to their desire. The satisfaction of children's basic needs is most important for them.
