Doli change during the story by becoming angry because Maibon was ungrateful, and he felt the wish was wasted.

Doli was a dwarf who grants wishes. He was very rude personality. He even gave a sharp command to Maibon. Usually dwarf does not allow people to change their wishes. Doli fulfilled some wishes of Maibon and he gave him everything like jewels, gold and precious stones. Maibon even asks for more. Doli resented that he has already completed all the wishes of Maibon and now no more wish is left.  

Doli was very angry with Maibon as he was very ungrateful with him. Maibon felt like all the wishes are wasted. But Doli felt that he had wisely used all the wishes. Doli taught a lesson to Maibon that stones were not all that he needed to teach Maibon a valuable lesson. The story teaches us that one should remain happy in whatever they have.
