According to my research on information technology, I can say that based on the information provided within the question both of these types of unshielded twisted pair (utp) cables  can be Cat3, Cat 5, Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP cable. The only real difference between straight and cross-type is the way the wires are arranged. The Straight UTP cables enter in a straight line into it's socket while cross-type UTP cables cross over each other to fit into it's correct placement.
