Amygdala is a brain part that plays a part in emotions. It is found deep in the temporal lobe. there are two amygdalae in brain, each hemisphere. It is found in almond-shaped. It is an important part of the limbic system and plays a part in emotions and behavior in animal-human beings. It also plays part in fear processing. There was experimented by Kluver and Buccy. They remove the amygdala of a monkey and observe the behavior. The monkey becomes more docile and shows a little fear. The behavior after the removal of the amygdala was known as Kluver Bucy syndrome.
