What were the death camps? who was sent there?

Death camps (aka Concentration camps) were places people of the Jewish faith were sent during WWII to be punished and most often times executed. It was part of Hitler's "Final Solution". He blamed the Jews for the economic crash and said they were evil. He kidnapped them and sent them to the death camps where often times they were put into gas champers and were killed then their bodies were "looted" anything such as gold teeth, etc. were taken from the bodies and kept as valuables and the bodys were put in a furnace to be disposed of. They ran multiple "experiments" on these people as well. When Germany was being pushed back and they were still in the death camps they gunned down the rest of the prisoners and retreated. The peole in the deat camps were starved and were put to work where many of them died of exhaustion or starvation.
