Many american parents would like to "hurry up" the stages of cognitive development in their children. what are two benefits of encouraging children to speed their intellectual development and what are two possible disadvantages?

Rushing the children on their cognitive development could have the positive effect of getting them to learn new things quicker, it could be negative too and they wouldn't learn anything at all

Advantages of speeding the cognitive development process:

It helps these Children to learn new concepts faster. It also increases the ability of the children to keep and process information

But this system could be more of force instead of encouragement. This could lead to the following disadvantages:

The children may become resistant to learning. This could affect them as they get older.There brain gets pressurized. This could ultimately lead to them being depressed.
