The pumpkin process starts with the growth of it in the soil. Once it reaches its full size is harvested. This is a constant practice that is done throughout the year.

Due to the perishability (it goes raw) of the product, it must be taken to the final consumer in the least time possible. This is why the product is rapidly stored in cardboard boxes and transported to distribution centers, which will subsequently distribute the product to retailers (the supermarkets). At this stage, pumpkins have already reached a stage of ripeness that is adequate for the final consumer to purchase it and use it for nutritional or decoration purposes.
