The Alabama Constitution provides two methods, where it should be revised.

1) by reformation started in the legislature.

2) or by a gathering of chosen representatives, also inducted in the legislature. Changes begun by the people are feasible in a few states but are not possible in Alabama in the existing law.

Recognizing the range and complexity of the constitution, an achievement of a general review by single gradually improvements would seem to be failure in real.

A constitution should give only a skeletal structure of government, broadly describing powers, duties, and relations. It manages a versatility to meet fluctuating circumstances and requirements.
