Zimbabwe won the absolute majority through pre-independence elections by the ZANU-PF, led by Robert Mugabe and forms the first government of Zimbabwe. Mugabe then works on the integration and reconciliation of Zimbabwe. Also repairing the damage from the guerrilla campaigns. In 1980, the British government formally granted Zimbabwe’s independence in which most other states followed soon after.
