Advertisements for a new energy drink claim that it people concentrate, and you are designing an experiment to test the hypothesis that the drink improves concentration. a large group of study participants are going to come into your lab and take a concentration test. now you must choose independent and dependent variables for your experiment.

For the experiment of energy drink on students, I shall take a drink as an independent variable and time slot as a dependent variable.

I shall call the same students in different timings of the day after doing different activities like sports and sometimes casually.

By doing this I'll be able to notice the change and effect of drink on participants. Either it just effects in normal routine or it will work too when participants are tired and really losing the concentration.

So this is how I'll be able to calculate accurate results as the company claims. Then we can tell how much the company is right in this claim.
