•Psychodynamic perspective – focuses on evidence in regards to a person’s emotional feelings

•Cognitive perspective – process, attitude and beliefs foster attachment to the person’s loved ones

•Social cultural perspective – explore situational influences in regards to attraction and though the development and expression in regards to love amongst cultural groups
