It makes it very hard for an individual to be able to tell the difference between what is true about them, and what has been said to/about them.
It also can cause trauma, depending on the severity or length of time which it happens, which can easily lead to multiple mental illnesses if not handled properly.

It makes them feel against themselves, and it even causes death.
