Christmas is pretty nice from the roast turkey to the warm gatherings but besides it being the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ , there are many more celebrations in which you have as much fun too like the Hebrew festival Hannukah in which they thank God for blessing the land where they celebrate just as much.  The Muslim festival called Ramaddan  where they celebrate just as much. Note that some countries do not celebrate Christmas ,   so they may minimize it . they may consider their holiday better, so my answer is yes and no for us who celebrate Christmas.
