Many years ago a pirate named Captain Timon buried several treasures in the open field outside of the classroom. He marked these treasures with a small marker while his first mate Pumbaa tended to a gas leak on the sailboat. Find the marker, and you have found the treasure . The treasures are marked as 1 through 3 hid these treasures by using three "lighthouses" as his starting (reference) points. Light house #1 is the farthest east light, #2 is directly behind the classroom and #3 is farther west on the other side of the fire hydrant. Groups 1 and 4 will find treasure number 1, Groups 2 and 5 will find treasure group 3 and 6 will find treasure 3. Find one bearing to follow using vector addition in the classroom before even stepping outside. Let's see who finds it first. Show any and all work on the back of this paper. find the Treasure 1 measured from light house #1 show work
