A single nuclear fight would instantly destroy the world, while 1,000,000 comets might take a while to come to the Earth. At least you'd have some time left.

Nuclear wars would simply take one command and it's game over.

The comets aren't harmful at all, as long as they're still "heading ... towards the Earth".

But if you want to compare a nuclear war to a comet's IMPACT, then if the comet is big enough and fast enough, the impact of a SINGLE comet could be far more harmful than a nuclear war.

And "big enough" could be a rock only a few miles across.
