Shanice is setting up a mobile (a balanced system of a light rod with toys hanging from it) in a nursery. The light rod is 45 cm long and the string from which it will hang is 15 cm from the left end. A 0.075 kg toy is hanging 2.0 cm from the left end and a 0.015 kg toy is hanging 5.0 cm from the right end. Shanice has studied physics and decides to do a calculation to determine where to put the third toy so the mobile becomes balanced (without moving the string from which the mobile hangs). If the mass of the third toy is 0.067 kg, where does it go? Hint: This problem is made much easier with a particular choice of origin.
