Given the total mass of all the stars (ie, visible matter) in our Milky Way, one would conclude that the rotational velocity around the center of the Galaxy of stars located further out (from the center of the Galaxy) than the Sun would be smaller than the rotational velocity of the Sun around the galactic center. However, observations show otherwise. How do astronomers account for this
