Find Acceleration due to gravity. Procedural Instructions:

You will need to jump vertically and mark another horizontal line (still with your hands stretched up) on the white sheet. Label this as h. Before doing this, have another member record your time (from jumping up to returning to the floor). Upon his/her signal, he/she will start the timer at the same time that you jump. He/she should stop the timer upon your return to the floor. Record this in your data table.

Fill up the table and use your data to find the experimental g of each member. Compute for the mean g of the group. Refer to the white board for the correct formula to be used.
