Explain why the earth is flattened at the poles.​

The rotation of the Earth creates a centrifugal force which acts radially outwards and is a pseudo effect counter balancing the inward acting centripetal force. This pseudo effect basically pushes the Earth outwards creating the bulge at the equator and flattening of the poles. Its similar to squashing a rubber ball.

when two balls of the different masses are dropped from equal height, they reach the ground at the same time .this is because they experience the same acceleration.

the acceleration is independent of mass.

thus when they are dropped they will always maintain the same velocity and travel the same distance (neglect air resistance of course) at the same time.
