This question has been perfectly handled. But I still have a challenge, am failing to identify the error am making in my solution. Have a look at what I did Wnet = Wapplied force — Wfriction 150 = 1050 –Ff Ff = 1050–150 = 900. To find Uk , Uk = Normal force/Friction force. We know in this case that our normal force is equal to weight = mg = 50 kg x 9.8 = 490N. Coefficient of friction will therefore be equal to 490N /900 = 0.54 kindly help me erase this off my thinking

Air is to be preheated by hot exhaust gases in a cross-flow heat exchanger before it enters the furnace. air enters the heat exchanger at 95 kpa and 20°c at a rate of 0.6 m^3/s. the combustion gases (cp = 1.10 kj/kg°c) enter at 160°c at a rate of 0.95 kg/s and leave at 95°c. determine the rate of heat transfer to the air and its outlet temperature.
