The velocity of a falling object can be determined with the formula V=2gh where g = the acceleration due to gravity (9.81 m/s2) and h = the height the ball was dropped from (in this case, 1 m.) Notice the velocity will be the same for each ball regardless of what they are made of or what surface they were bounced on.
