The figure above shows a rigid body made up of two uniform disks made of the same material and attaches to each other. The larger disk had a mass of 2.1 kg and a radius of 145 cm. The smaller disk has the same thickness as the larger disk, half the radius of the larger disk, and is attached such that it’s outer edge is tangent to the larger disk. Point AA lies at the center of the smaller disk. Point BB lies at the center of the larger disk. Point CC is midway between point BB and the edge of the larger disk. Point DD is on the edge of the larger disk. Determine the rotational inertia of the system about each point.

The scalar triple product computes the magnitude m of the moment of a force vector f about a specified line. it is m = (r × f) · n, where r is the position vector from the line to the point of application of the force and n is a unit vector in the direction of the line. use matlab to compute the magnitude m for the case where f = [12, −5, 4] n, r = [−3, 5, 2] m, and n = [6, 5, −7].
